Are you contemplating building a storage shed in your backyard? There are some things to consider.

You will need to consider the foundation. It is not recommended to put your shed directly on the ground. A good foundation is important, make sure you have a level base on which to build the shed, otherwise the wall panels may be uneven and not line up properly.

Before starting, double check that you have all necessary building tools and supplies. You will not want to stop mid-project to purchase more tools or supplies.

Find out if you need permission to erect a small building on your property. Your local town hall will be able to tell you if you need any permits or licenses.
