When you are planning your trip to Costa Blanca you will want to consult a Costa Blanca map to see exactly where you want to go. With so many different areas to choose from you will be amazed at how many wonderful cities there are from north to south of Costablanca. Read on for a description of several of the best spots.

The Northern most city in the region is Denia which his home to a gorgeous view of both the mountains and the ocean. There are tons of gorgeous beaches to lay out on and lots of water sports to try. You can also experience Spanish life and culture in this quaint place. You’ll want to see the Castle of Denia, the famous toy museum, and stroll along Calle de Marques de Campo.

If you want to enjoy a city with a beautiful coastline and may quiet beaches and coves than check out Benissa. Some of these beaches are so remote you will need to climb over little cliffs to access them. This city is full of beautiful churches and is rich in the history of the past. Make sure you sample the local octopus stew to get a true taste of Benissa.

If you want to go see the beautiful blue dome of the Nuestra Senora del Consuel church then you will visit Altea. This city has kept the look of a real Spanish village, rather than a boring tourist spot. You can view the coastline and have a great view of the mountains while staying only 5 kilometers from the beach.

If you want to taste some great chocolate then head to Villajoyosa which is located just south of Benidorm. This is the home to the Valor brand of chocolate, which is well known all over Europe. The oldest part of the city is near the shoreline and full of beautiful brightly painted buildings and homes. You can also try your luck at gambling at the Royal Palm Casino. There is a famous celebration at end of July each year called the Festival of the Moors and Christians and this is not to be missed.

If you want to be close to the airport than try no further than Alicante, which is a large city, and well known in the region. You can visit historic buildings, check out great exhibits, and lie on beautiful beaches. You will also want to not the great shopping and restaurants located here.

If you want to travel farther south than you can find Torrevieja. This city is known for its major industry of salt production. Torrevieja produces over half a million tons of salt each year.
