If the soil is not acidic enough you can add humus or better yet sulfur to raise the acidity level of the soil. When buying plants, find out what it needs for it to grow and flourish.

Aside from having a good soil for your plants to grow in, fertilizers still play an important role. Think of fertilizers as vitamins for your plants. Fertilizers can help your plants grow fast by providing nutrients that may be lacking in the soil. We would want our plants to be healthy and to live long.
