What are benefits if using carpet and are they the cause of allergies?

The main reason that most people prefer to use carpets because carpets will make the floor looks beautiful and luxurious. In fact, using carpets has many more benefits, apart from making floor beautiful. The other benefit of using carpets can be described as follows;

1. Use as the material to absorb the noise

Carpet is the floor cover material that has ability to absorb noise more than any other materials and they will help to reduce noise and echo, so they are suitable for offices or libraries

2. Comfortable and generate good working atmosphere

- Carpet will make your workplace more comfortable and generates good working atmosphere, then increase the effectiveness of working.

This is the issue that I have to clarify. Most of people think that using carpet is the cause of allergy. But the fact is the cause of allergy is not the fragment of carpet, but it’s because of the dust mites, which usually stay within the carpet. If you well and constantly maintain carpet by vacuum cleaning every week as schedule, this will reduce risk to allergic to the carpet.

It’s very simple, just like the way that you normally clean your house and other furniture. However, there are three ways to clean carpets;

1. Vacuum cleaning, if possible, try to vacuum clean the carpet every day or at least once a week. You may have to use small stick to pick out small rubbish that stained with the carpet.

2. If carpets has stains, such as coffee drops. Try to wipe out the drops by using dry cotton. Do not clean by swipe the stain by wet cotton, because this will make the stain larger. Then apply a detergent or use salt to clean the carpet immediately.

3. To do a major clean, you should do at least every 6 months. It will be more comfortable if you use removable carpet. But for who use the fixed type, I would suggest to call for professional service.
