1) Why not setup joint ventures with website owners in areas that are related to yours but not competing. For example, if you sell information products to do with Yoga then you may want to look for other sites or companies that sell Yoga exercise equipment or relaxation products. Make sure they fully understand the advantages of working with you whenever you contact a potential partner with a view to growing your list.

2) PPC advertising can be used to great effect to get visitors to your opt-in page. Take a look at Google Adwords, Yahoo Advertiser Network, Microsoft Advertiser Network Beta, and Overture. One thing you need to remember is that PPC can be very costly if you are not sure what you are doing, so make sure you fully understand what you are getting yourself into.

Alternatively, add your opt-in form to the bottom of every page. This will allow your visitors to sign up for your list regardless of which page they arrive at.

Call it "Extras" to capture the buyers curiosity.

10) Of course, you don't just have to stick to online methods in a bid to build your list. You can put adverts in local shops, free advertising newspapers and magazines.
