I have driven out of Aberdeen many times. Mostly I had to be there for business meetings. I always make use of the parking firm’s services there. Parking your car at Aberdeen Airport itself is rather expensive unless you do not mind paying a high short duration fee. There are less expensive options available which I reserve using the internet, which is quick and simple, and having tried the majority of them I’m truly not bragging when I say that by now I am an expert. Sharing my experiences might save you trouble.

The past decade I have really tried all kinds of alternatives regarding off-site Parking at Aberdeen airport, with mixed experiences. All of the parking facilities are secured and usually professionally operated, but when the day ends it all matters on how much time you have left prior to the take off of your flight and which location you are arriving from. Parking fee varies accordingly.

The easiest option, if you want to make it really comfortable for yourself is the chauffeured parking service, due to simply driving up to the airport, take your baggage out of your vehicle and let the staff take your car away. You just have to call them when you return and they will be waiting for you! Firms offering this very convenient service are Aberdeen Airpark Parking and Aberdeen Airport Meet and Greet – but you should bear in mind that they’re a little bit more expensive.

The closest parking facilities to Aberdeen airport are Aberdeen Airport Meet and Greet (just two miles, five minutes), and Aberdeen Airpark Parking (two miles, about five minutes), but it might happen sometimes you loose 10 minutes of precious time while waiting for a shuttle service. The parking facility operates a transfer service to the airport/car park on request. The duration of the trip is just five minutes.

Both of the company’s services are all much the same really for parking at Aberdeen. I have been back to Aberdeen Airpark Parking a couple of times. The companies do not waste time on loads of paperwork. Returning is a breeze as well, no hanging around or troubles getting your vehicle out. Occasionally they ask to keep your car keys and drive your vehicle around, which is no problem for me.

I guess it depends on whether you know the area or not, the parking facilities might be difficult to find, or easy approaching from one way but quite hard from the opposite direction. Obviously, the fee is a consideration as well. The less expensive options are furthest away so ensure you get to the destination with enough time left prior to check in procedures, if you want to have peace of mind just make use of the valet parking service, which is the most convenient.

In fact using the internet to plan your journey is about the most wise advice I can give, do not be scared of them, they mostly offer the most lucrative deals, particularly the aggregated services that provide the best arrangements across all the available opportunities. It makes it all trouble-free. Here are a few of my recommendations for your convenience.
