If you’re getting married and you would like a wedding unlike any other, why not try a romantic wedding cruise?

Wedding cruise honeymoons come in various different packages and it is always a good idea to shop around before you make a choice. In making a decision, here are some factors to consider:

* How Relaxing Do You Want The Cruise to Be? – Do you want an active wedding cruise where you and your loved one go places and partake in many different activities? Or, simply lazing around is your stuff?

* Where Do You Want The Cruise to Stop - Some wedding cruises will take you to more than one place. It may even be possible to stop at around two to three different places on your journey. Plan your journey. An example of a cruise which stops at different destinations includes the ‘Adventure of the Seas’ cruise. That one will take you from Puerto Rico to Aruba, Curacao, St. Maarten and St. Thomas.

* Does It Fit Your Budget? – Depending on the kind of package you are going for, a wedding cruise can be quite expensive! A basic wedding cruise package can be anything as little as $800! That is much cheaper than an ordinary wedding. Packages vary widely and you could pay as little as $399 for a seven night cruise all the way up to over $1,000. Remember to ask for discounts or any freebie to get better value for your money.

So, how do you make it a dream wedding? Here’s what you can do…

Try going to some romantic locations. For example, a wedding cruise to the Maldives may be more romantic than a trip to Disneyland, and a trip to the Caribbean would be a lot more romantic than a trip to somewhere local. Is there a special place your partner wanted to visit? Why not, visit that place because it will be a dream come true for both of you!

Another way you can make the trip romantic is by booking extras on your wedding cruise. For example, taking part in events such as a jazz evening or enjoying a pampering spa experience. Remember to include romantic dinners, exotic flowers and champagne to celebrate this significant day!

Other activities may include snorkelling, a welcome ceremony, and a private picnic. All packages vary so check with your travel agent to see what is included with your wedding cruise.

Learning how to plan a wedding cruise together could just be one of the most memorable things you can do with your partner. Plan it together, enjoy it together, and always remember this romantic wedding cruise for life!
