Located on Florida's West Coast you will find such cities as Tampa, Clearwater, St. Petersburg and Sarasota. Each is surrounded by water such as the Tampa Bay, and Gulf of Mexico and offer beautiful oceanfront views and white sand beaches. If you live here or are just here for vacation you will find there is so much to do on the water or on land.

Tampa is a large city with a busy business district as well as great entertainment for the whole family. Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, Lowry Park Zoo and The Florida Aquarium are great places to spend the day year round with the weather in Florida being so warm. If you love to shop, the West Coast is for you. The International Mall and the Westshore Mall as well as many smaller boutiques in the area have upscale stores as well as great dining.

The West Coast also has a busy night life. Ybor City, Channelside in Tampa and BayWalk in St. Petersburg offer outdoor musical entertainment, patio bars, and fun dining. People enjoy gathering here nightly and it's a great place to meet up with friends after work.

This area has many championship sporting teams too. The Tampa Bay Buccanneers, Tampa Lightning, and The Devil Rays give the Tampa fans teams to cheer on year round. The west coast is a great place to fish too. Whether you are on a private boat or charter a fishing voyage, everyone wants to catch grouper, snook, redfish and trout. You can fish during the day and have it for dinner that night. You will often see people jet skiing, parasailing or just boating on the water. Many restaurants have docks so their clients can pull up to their business by land or by sea.

Sarasota is a bit more quiet and more expensive than Tampa Bay but offers a peaceful place to get away from the big city and relax by the crashing waves. It is an upscale city and may not have the bright lights at night, but has wonderful waterfront dining, small shops and grand hotels. Each location on this coast has inexpensive hotels, larger more all inclusive hotels and wonderful oceanfront condominiums for those visitors who wish to make this area home year round or seasonally. You truly can't go wrong waking up to such a gorgeous view and ending your day with a sunset stroll on the beach. Come to the west coast and see for yourself!!
