Knowing the food to eat to build muscle is one of the most important things that you need to know. When you don’t know the food to eat to build muscle you will not get the results that you want. Your weight training is obviously important when you want to build muscle.

However, most people don’t realize that the correct diet is just as important. You can do your workout for a long time and never see the muscles that you want without the correct diet.

So what are the correct foods to eat when you are trying to build muscle? You will want to eat these four main nutrients: protein, carbohydrates, fiber and fat.

First, you will want to eat a high protein diet. This is the one thing that will help you build muscles. You will want to eat at least 1 gram of protein per pound of your body weight daily. You don’t want to exceed the maximum amount that your body can handle. This is two grams per pound of your body weight.

You will not need to eat more. You will just need to eat smarter. You can find protein in meats such as steaks or soybeans, whey protein (you can mix this with soups, shakes, and vegetables) and egg whites.

Second, you need to eat carbohydrates to help you keep up your energy level when you are working out. Carbohydrates can be found in potatoes, rice and pastas. You don’t want to eat too much but you definitely need this for your workout.

Third, believe it or not you will need to have fat in your diet. You don’t want to cut fat out of your diet or you will trick your body into storing fat. This will defeat the purpose of trying to build muscles.

Fourth, by eating fiber you will be eating foods that will help with the carbohydrates that you will need and you will be helping your body from storing to much fat. Fiber rich foods are oatmeal, fruit, vegetables, and wheat.

The food to eat to build muscle is just as important as the workout. So you need to educate yourself on bodybuilding as well as on the correct diet for bodybuilding. You will not get the results that you are looking for if you don’t know what food to eat to build muscle. You can help your muscles grow faster when you have the correct weight training and the correct diet
