Toothache is quite a common problem throughout the world and it isone that is very unpleasant for those who experience it, toothache can have quite a dramatic affect on a persons life because of how irritating it is, painful and limiting. The Cause Of Toothache

There is not just one cause of toothache, there are quite a few of them, here are some of them:

A cracked tooth - This is exactly as it sounds, having a cracked, broken or fractured tooth and it usually occurs when there is some sort of strike against the tooth or there is too much pressure put on the tooth, this may be because you have been struck with a hard object, you bite down on hard objects, you chew excessively and this can lead to extreme pains in the tooth.

Gum disease - This is causes by a build up of plaque which will then irritate the gums, what usually happens is the gums start to recede and therefore expose more of the tooth than should be, this can sometimes cause teeth to become loose and your gums may even bleed when you brush your teeth, if untreated this can lead to gum abscesses.

Dental decay - This is a result of a cavity in the tooth and is actually very common throughout the world, bacteria accumulates on the teeth and will begin to dissolve the structure of your teeth, if left untreated it can go much further and can actually reach the nerve and blood vessels in the centre of the tooth, this can cause infection.

These are some of the causes of toothache that you should be aware of, if you do experience toothache then you should first of all make an appointment with your dentist as soon as possible and make sure you go to that appointment, while you are waiting to see the dentist you can use home remedies to ease the unbearable pain of toothache because it really can be unbelievably painful.

You should see your dentist regularly anyway to make sure that everything is in order and if not, you can do what is needed to treat it.

Toothache is one of the worst experiences, in my opinion, that a person can go through, it is very painful and very frustrating, however, you can do things to relieve the pain and help to make things easier for yourself.
