Kids really enjoy taking baths because there are fun things to wear and wonderful items that will amuse them for hours if parents would allow them to stay in the water for that amount of time. The manufacturers of bed and bath products have created fun things for kids to enjoy when they enter the water. There are marvelous soaps that are scented with fun and fruity scents that make it so delightful for a child because these soaps change the color of the water to beautiful hues of blue, green, and a neon yellow. When kids see the yellow they naturally associate it with the fun spongy character that they see on television everyday and seem more willing to bath longer.

Some of these bath products allow the children to get clean while drawing pictures on their body with soap shaped like crayons and writing on the walls of the bathroom is only allowed during bath time which is a perfect time for kids to show their artistic abilities. Kids learn very quickly that the images can be erased and they always make sure that they have a wet washcloth waiting just in case there is a mistake that they want to change.

Children can also practice their grooming skills while they are in the bath. Many of the bath products are totally submersible and provide children with combs and brushes that they can use to straighten out their hair when it has become wet from the water splashes. Parents get splashed when these grooming tools are used but all in all, the grooming experience is as good for the kids as it is for the parents.

Other bath products for kids float while the child is bathing and then they can be used to prepare a child for shooting baskets in the major leagues. There are floating basketball courts that come complete with a net and a ball that kids have a lot of fun with when they are in the tub. All sports are represented with these fun bath products and some parents might place two of them in the tub for full sports action fun.

Bath time is so much fun that some kids will go out of their way to get their parents to run them a bath. They will carefully organize all of the bath time buddies that they have gotten from the bed and bath section of their favorite mass merchandising store. They have been cautioned by their parents in the past about turning faucets on in the bathroom.

Some kids forget about these warnings or they might have chosen to be stubborn for a moment, until they see the friendly warning that is dangling from the faucet handle with a familiar face that they have seen on television.
