Quite different from other typical Moroccan cities, Agadir's beauty might appear odd to some travelers. Having in mind that the Kingdom of Morocco is home to a number of ancient wonders, many tourists find the modern architecture and lifestyle in Agadir utterly peculiar. The streets, houses, and hotels in Agadir exhibit designs that totally deviate from traditional Moroccan structures. This set-up actually resulted from a destructive earthquake in 1961. Since then, homes, restaurants, bars, and hotels in Agadir have featured contemporary designs that encourage an upbeat urban lifestyle.

Knowing that Agadir differs from other Moroccan cities when it comes to lifestyle and design shouldn't make you feel any less interested. Truly, Agadir surprises its visitors with the many captivating sights and activities it holds. But if there's one secret in uncovering its real beauty within the eccentricity of Agadir's physical structures, it is having the right attitude. Even if you spend many days and nights in and out of different hotels in Agadir, if you don't have the zeal of an impassioned traveler, you won't be able to unearth the things that make this Moroccan city simply special. So, if you want to get the most out of your vacation in Agadir, you have to be:

An Inquisitive Traveler

The most important discoveries in this world come from having an inquisitive mind. The great Einstein wouldn't have won a Nobel Prize for the photon theory if he was not curious enough to study the nature of light. The same principle applies in discovering wonders in your Agadir travel. You have to be curious, and you must know how to end your curiosity. You must learn how to ask, read some travel guides, and do some research. Be familiar with the top tourist destinations and find out which hotels in Agadir have direct access to them. Learn about the city's amazing history by exploring the Agadir Museum in the Municipal Theater. Or, even fill your mind with new facts about Agadir's existing economy by paying a visit to its modern fish port.

A Well-Rounded Adventurer

If you're mind is limited to a single interest, Agadir won't be an exciting place for you. This city in southwest Morocco is filled with various spices that will truly delight travelers who appreciate diversity. If you want to enjoy a great time in Agadir, you have to look for fun in different ways: sun-bathing at the shore of Agadir beach, course surfing at the Taghazout fishing village, strolling quietly along the mountain side of Tafraout, or enjoying great food inside one of the hotels in Agadir.

An Energetic Tourist

Your vacation in Agadir will only be more meaningful if you're a dynamic traveler. Think of your Agadir vacation as a dream you've long been waiting for, so you'll give your best in enjoying every part of this city. Instead of just hanging out idly in one of the hotels in Agadir, you should be having a great time at the tourist-filled Corniche. It is a long avenue where you can find many exciting shops and restaurants. Your energy should also move you to admire the Western architecture along Avenue des FAR, one of Agadir's most animated areas.

If you really want to enjoy this unique Moroccan city, don't just stay inside the hotels in Agadir. Be an ideal traveler. Go out and explore the city of Agadir.
