Let's face it: some digital media players are just a little vanilla. Sure, they might have a lot of storage and be able to play your favorite music as well as any other player out there, but do those plain Jane players really let you express who you are?

If your slogan is "I gotta be me" down to your electronic gadgets, then the Microsoft Zune is the player for you. This powerful 30 gigabyte digital media player with a three-inch screen has plenty of storage for all your media needs, and it comes in five different colors to help portray who you really are.

Right now you can choose from black, white, brown, pink or red Zune players, and more colors are being released regularly. You can amp up the customization even more with a third-party case for your phone, ranging from sleek leather cases to sporty armband holders and durable silicone covers.

If you're a fan of the Halo series of video games, the perfect Zune for you is the Zune Halo 3 edition. Sold exclusively at GameStop stores, this black Zune comes fully loaded with music, art, trailers and videos from the three Halo games. It has custom graphics and special customized packaging. An exclusive episode of Red vs. Blue rounds out the ultimate gamer's package.

Even if you're not a big Halo fan, the Microsoft Zune has some great features that set it apart from other digital media players out there. For one, all the Zune players come loaded with a selection of audio and video clips to help you explore the world of music and maybe find a new favorite.

The Zune is all about having a conversation about music, and that begins as soon as you take it out of the box. Once you've loaded your favorites on the player, your friends with Zune's can see what you are listening to and use the Zune software to buy the same songs if they want to.

You can even give them a sample of some songs when they are close to you by using the built in Zune to Zune Wi-Fi network. Your friend can listen to the song up to three times in three days and decide if he or she wants to buy it, too.

Zune allows you to quickly and easily organize your songs, whether they be purchased from the Zune Marketplace or ripped from your purchased CDs. Zune give you the flexibility to create playlists of all your favorites and share those lists, along with music and photos, with your friends.

The Microsoft Zune will get you and your friends talking about and sharing music like never before. You might even make some new friends through sharing songs on your Zune.
