Retirement is a period to relax and enjoy your life to the core. The most important that would be considered by you is where do you want to stay. A few of you may want to continue in the same residence or city, while a few may want to move out and stay in another place, or a house near Hawaiian beach. If you are looking for a substitute there is not so popular one, leave the shore and spend your retirement on a luxurious cruise ship. Despite the fact that this may sound a very lavish uncalled for lavishness, it has a lot of advantages to living out your retirement on a cruise ship.

Keeping Social

After retirement the fatigue and boredom is very high. Normally, the Social involvement is reduced in retirement life, there's less excuse to get out of the house. Without much work to do and no justification to go out you cannot entertain yourself. Being a communal environment, a cruise ship has someone to have company with; it might be ship employees or co-passengers. Thus, being on the sea, you have the excuse to be hang out with the people who are fun loving and enthusiastic. This would reduce your boredom and fatigue.

Beautiful Weather

Staying in a home near Hawaii beach you get to have the benefit of the climate and beach, but retirement on sea means you would experience tropical climate and foreign ports of call more or less on a daily basis, enjoying the sea, socialize with diverse cultures when you hit ports of call, and so on. The "shore excursions" office will usually offer a variety of sightseeing tours and organized activities such as scuba, snorkeling, kayaking, bicycling, and so forth at each port of call. You meet different people, visit many places and always on the move and relaxing all the time. What a way to enjoy your life in retirement.

Attentive Service

The Cruise ship is known for the service provided. The service is round the clock (24 Hours); the courteous and polite staff to be there to all your need is available on cruise ship. The amenities and activities on the ship include clean sheets and towels every day, and you don't even have to ask for them; organize lead activities and multi-cuisine restaurants. Even though these things would be provided in a retirement living community, it's hard to beat the pleasant environment that a cruise ship provides. Comparable Costs

The research done by "The Economist "reveals a year in an "assisted-living facility" costs Americans, on an average, around $28,500 a year. In large cities such as Chicago, costs are even higher, topping $40,000. Living in a dedicated cabin aboard the Royal Caribbean's Majesty of the Seas, on the other hand, rings in at a rather competitive $33,260 a year. To save money you can go ahead and sell your home on shore. For a cruise passenger, there are no home loans, no service bills, no cooking bills, and so on. You need not have to pay the property taxes and other taxes to be paid on shore. So, you do save a lot of money in the other expenses, which need not be paid on the ship.
For an only one of its kind experience, move out of the shore and live on seas and enjoy the retirement.
