It is a process where warm or cold wax is spread on the skin over the treatment area and is pulled off quickly by placing a strip of cloth over the waxed area.

This can be a very painful process and may sometimes leave the skin reddish and inflamed. Electrolysis is a permanent method of hair removal where an electric current is passed to the hair root through a needle that is inserted into the hair follicle. The electric current kills the hair root, but the process is time consuming and painful. Laser method is the most recent hair removal method that is available these days. Here, the laser beam is sent through the skin to the hair follicle where it stops the hair growth. The advantage using laser is that larger area can be treated at a particular time and hence is less time consuming, but is the most expensive of all the hair removal methods or products.

Depilatory creams or hair removal creams are the most common hair removal product that is available in all the leading departmental stores all over the world. They are the most convenient method of hair removal that one can easily do by himself or herself and is less time consuming and even less painful. The other methods like the laser treatment and electrolysis has to done only by a professional and qualified technicians. Electrolysis method of hair removal is very painful and the most time consuming, but will be a permanent solution to get rid of the growth of unwanted hair. The laser treatment is less time consuming but is the most expensive method of unwanted hair removal.
