The city of Ventura, or what is officially known as the city of San Buenaventura, can be found in the state of California. It is actually the county seat of the Ventura County in California.

When going to San Buenaventura City, there are a lot of things one shouldn’t dare miss. Downtown Ventura is a good place to start a tour of the Ventura City, where various tourist attractions can be seen. These include a number of museums, the Ortega Adobe and the Mission San Buenaventura, which is a favorite location for religious individuals. The Mission San Buenaventura can be found on Main Street, and still allows various religious activities to take place inside it.

The Majestic Ventura Theater is also located in Downtown Ventura, and plays host to various artists and musicians from all over the world traveling to Ventura. Plaza Park is also a wonderful place to visit and spend the day in, which is surrounded by Morton Bay Fig Trees. The Bell Arts Factory can also be found in San Buenaventura City. Children’s programs can be obtained for free in the factory. Various artworks and crafts are also created there by different artists. The harbor in San Buenaventura City, the Channel Islands National Park, the Ventura Hot Glass Studio and the Olivas Adobe are also places that should not be missed.

Surfers are sure to enjoy the best waves in the Ventura beaches. Surfer’s Point, specifically, is home to several international competitions for surfing. Every year, the Ventura County Fair is also able to attract numerous people from all over the nation. Also, the Rubicon Theater Company is a regular in San Buenaventura City. The theater company provides professional live theater in the entire county.

Shoppers will also find San Buenaventura City a treat. The Pacific View Mall is a favorite among locals and tourists. Salzer’s in Victoria is a hidden treasure, where the store is divided into either music or video items. For antique lovers, Heirloom Antiques located on San Buenaventura’s Main Street is a fabulous store. Unique pieces are placed all over the store, with a lot of items made of wood. Other places to visit for a wonderful shopping experience include the Camarillo Premium Outlets in Thousand Oaks ad Korazon Organics.

A number of educational institutions provide educational opportunities to residents of the city of Ventura. Two colleges are located in Ventura, namely the Ventura College and the Brooks Institute of Photography.

Ventura City has a rapidly growing population. In approximately 20 years, the population of Ventura has grown four times its previous, to its current estimated population of more than 100,000 residents. This growth and development can be attributed to the relatively affordable real estate market in the city. More and more people from nearby cities in the state of California, such as Los Angeles, are traveling to San Buenaventura City and deciding to live there.

If you’re looking for an affordable beach destination that’s close enough to the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles, look no further. Search for real estate in San Buenaventura City now!
