If you are on a budget then it is more than likely that a summer holiday is the last thing on your mind. However, no matter what your budget, it is still possible to have a fantastic summer vacation. You just have to know where to look and how to get the best deals.

Panning a Summer Vacation on a Budget

One mistake which people tend to make when they are on a budget is thinking that they cannot go wherever they like. They tend to try and stay local as they feel that it will be cheaper. However that is not always the case and the main thing that you have to learn is that you can go anywhere you want to go. So select your tourist destination and then look for the cheapest flights, accommodation and holiday rental package that you can.

Usually most people love nothing more than a good beach holiday. If this sounds like you then there are a number of budget options available to you. If you want to travel to the USA for example, then some of the best beaches include:

• Long Beach
• Pensacola Beach
• Virginia Beach

Obviously the nearer to home you are, the cheaper it will be to get there. However, it just depends upon which deals you can get as sometimes travel agents can arrange extremely cheap holidays abroad.

If golfing is more your kind of thing then there are a few good, cheap golf courses that you could try out. These include Myrtle Beach, Scottsdale and Newport Beach. If you choose a resort package then you could save money at the courses. You can find resort packages all around the world and they tend to include accommodation, golf and dining. If you struggle to find a cheap package to suit you then another option you have is to find a holiday rental not too far from the golf course and book everything separately.

If you are travelling with the family then a theme park holiday is likely to be more what you are looking for. You can find cheap package holidays to places such as Disneyworld. The children really will love it there and you should notice that they do quite a large range of options for people on a budget. If you cannot find a theme park package, then why not just take a few day trips to a theme park. That is not as expensive but it is still fun for the whole family.

Overall going on a summer vacation needn’t be expensive. You can go wherever you like with as much money as you have and you will still have a fantastic time!
