Make sure that you know the terms of the price that you are quoted. In other words, you should be aware of how you are going to pay, if the quoted price is final, etc. You never want to take anything for granted when it comes to the financial aspect of hiring a contractor. To get your home built the way that you want, take your time when choosing a contractor.
