The prefabricated showers of today bear little resemblance to those of the past. Consumers of today are very discriminating, and to keep pace the marketplace has to cater to the needs and wants of the end user. Prefabricated showers have come a long way.

There is a wide array of choices today. a trip to your local showroom can be a real eye opener.

the prefabricated showers of today, mirror many of the desirable features that were formerly only available in custome showers.

Some of these features now found in prefabricated showers are:

1. Body jets
2. Steam
3. Multiple shower heads
4. Body jets
5. Hand held sprayers
6. Waterfall rainheads
7. CD, stereo and TV systems

Advantages offered by prefabricated showers:

1. One piece or multi piece units
2. Ease getting multi piece units in existing completed construction
3. speed of installation
4. Lightweight and easier handling for a DIY installation

Prefabricated units are available in a variety of sizes. The fact that they are available both as multi piece or one piece units make prefabricated showers a good choice for a variety of applications.

They can be found in 32, 36, and 48 inch units.Multi piece units can be assembled on site, making them a good choice where getting a shower into existing space is a problem, as in the case of many bathroom remodels.

If you are planning a DIY bathroom remodel, take a lot of measurements and recheck them. Be sure that you can get the shower of your choice to it's final destination in your home. Lay out the route it will take on it's way to the bathroom and check doorways, hallways etc. to be sure there will be clearance. This may be where you make a choice between a one piece or a multi piece prefabricated shower.

Do a thorough job of comparison shopping and review all the features of these new prefabricated showers. There is sure to be one to suit both your needs and also fulfill your wants in a new shower.
