A study has proven that one in thirty-three children are threatened by an internet predator. An internet predator may ask to meet with a child or call a child on the phone or send a child gifts in the mail. This is an alarming statistic for any one who is a parent. An even more alarming statistic is that one in five children is solicited for sexual reasons on the internet each year. There are so many dangerous situations that children are placed into while online.

The internet is a wonderful tool when used appropriately. The internet can be used for educational reasons, to play games, to look up information or for entertainment purposes. The downside to the various benefits of using the internet is that a parent does not know what their child is doing online. Child internet monitoring allows a parent to gain control of the activities that their child is involved with while online. This is the best way for a parent to know who a child is talking to while online. Plus with monitoring tools a parent can filter out certain chat rooms or websites.

Child internet monitoring software tools are designed to monitor a child’s emails and instant messages that are sent out and received. With this type of tool a parent is able to monitor both sides of chat room discussions and be notified in REAL TIME by Cell Phone or email if a predator threat is suspected. This is a great way for a parent to stay informed of who a child is talking to and what type of information is being exchanged in the conversations. A parent has so many responsibilities today with work, home and family. One of the biggest responsibilities for a parent is to protect their child. So many children who become victims to internet predators need their safety to be ensured while online.

Internet monitoring tools give parents the power to monitor Social Networks conversations, posts and messages. Parents can monitor keystrokes and the type of websites that their child frequents. Also, these types of monitoring tools are designed to monitor the type of activities that are commonly used by a child. If a parent is afraid that their child is in a dangerous situation then the parent can block a website. Child internet monitoring is the perfect way to protect children while they are online.

It is estimated that one in seventeen children are threatened or harassed while on the internet. This includes threats to harm a child, friend or family member.
