Going all natural seems to be the hype these days. You couldn’t visit a supermarket or a flea market without natural fruit juices lining out for your picking. And why not ? Organic means no chemicals from pesticides which is surely a good thing. Many Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved pesticides were registered way before extensive research linked these chemicals to cancer and other harmful diseases so we cannot be sure if what we are putting into our bodies are safe. With organic farming methods we are provided with a healthier, more sustainable environment. A 2002 study done by The Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry found higher antioxidant benefits in organic fruit than non-organic fruits, these essential nutrients are key for healthy, glowing skin and body. Furthermore, Research shows that organic fruit juice contain higher levels of minerals such as vitamin C and E which is essential to cell regeneration.

Organic fruit juices come from fruits that are hand-harvested with no chemicals added, it is completely devoid of harmful ingredients, that is why it is as beneficial as staying away from pollutants and smoke which causes skin aging. There are a variety of flavors to choose from:

A glass a day of natural liquid like passion fruit juice will promote inner cleansing that will give you a soft glow.

A sip of organic papaya juice will surely give you a smoother digestion. Considered as one of the most nutritious juices around, papaya is a rich source of photolytic enzymes, the chemical that aids the digestion of protein. This fruit also is rich with vitamin A, B, C and D; calcium, phosphorous and iron. It also contains rejuvenating properties, primarily for the control of premature ageing.

Lime juice is also a very popular organic juice drink. It is loaded with vitamins A, C and folate (A salt or ester of folic acid). Many claim that it has anti rheumatic, antiseptic and antiviral properties. Organic lime juice also helps with the prevention of common colds because of its vitamin C content, intestinal disorders, diarrhea and dysentery and lowering of high blood pressure. It is also said that lime helps in preventing sun and heat stroke.

Pineapple is always known for its health benefits. Countless studies have been done and testimonials are rampant about how beneficial this fruit is. Now that pineapple has gone organic, it is much more healthier. Pineapple contains bromelain, a peptide hydrolase obtained used in treating inflammation and edema of soft tissues associated with traumatic injury. This dominant anti-inflammatory property can also help relieve rheumatoid arthritis and reduce post-operative swelling. Organic pineapple juices can also relieve indigestion. The pineapple’s enzyme helps break down the amino acid bonds in proteins, which promotes good digestion. Pineapple also provide an ample supply of vitamin C, commonly known antioxidant, this protects the body from free radical damage and boosts the immune system. Vitamin C also helps repair body tissue and help wounds to heal. Another popular and well-known benefit of pineapple juice is that it helps metabolize fats and cholesterol, absorb iron, and synthesize amino acids and collagen.

These are but some of the healthy options out there. Remember that by choosing to drink a glass of organic fruit juice concentrate a day you are getting closer to a fitter lifestyle.
