It runs from May through to October and it is the best time of the year in Cyprus to take part in water sports and sunbathing. If you want to go sightseeing then it is better to do it either early in the morning or later on in the afternoon as that way you will avoid the really hot times of the day. If heat is not a strong point of yours then you should venture to Troodos where the mountains will provide you with a much cooler setting.

The Autumn is only just slightly cooler and you will get to experience the change in colour in the vineyards and the trees around the island. Cyprus weather in October and even right to the end of November it could still feel like summer and it is still possible to go swimming if you want to.

When winter comes it brings with it a chance of rain. However the sun usually still shines most of the time for six hours a day. It is possibly one of the best times to visit Cyprus and its temperatures are slightly cooler than summer, making it pleasant to walk around.
