Rajasthan in India is a nice place, which is the home of diverse culture, religion and climate. This fabulous place will never fail to allure you. You can relish the natural treasure and the scenic beauty of this wonderful place.

Geographically Rajasthan is the largest state of India. The neighboring country is the Pakistan that borders to the west. The major mountain range that runs from southwest to northeast is the Aravalli range. The prominent peak of this range is the Mount Abu. The colorfulness of the state makes it an excellent touring place in India. A vast part of the state is occupied by the Thar Desert. You can admire the unparallel world’s heritage, its unique culture, sand dunes and the lush green forest, which are some of the attractive and distinguished part of the state. The rich forest and the wildlife of the state are incredibly attractive and simply irresistible. The fauna of the state includes the colourful peacocks, the majestic and giant elephants, the camels and the roar of the tigers. The main mode of transportation is made on camel’s back and so the camel is called the “ship of the desert”. The main epicenter of attraction for a traveler during their Rajasthan tour is the magnificent monuments and the fabulous forts. You can explore the historical paradise of India to discover many amazing facts and evidences. In a nutshell, the state of Rajasthan exhibits brave and amazing legends from its very existence.

The history of Rajasthan is truly very interesting which makes it one of the popular destinations. The rulers of this mystic land are the “Rajputs” means the ‘Son of a king’. In the very inception of the 6th century the Rajputs rose to prominence. But lately the Rajputs came under the Marathas and had to conclude treaties with the mighty British rulers in the early emergence of the 19th century.

Religion of Rajasthan adds true sense of diversity to the state. In Rajasthan, the Hindus account for 90% of the population of the state. The religion also contributed too many fairs and festivals that give charm and jest to the strangers.

Dance and music of Rajasthan has got its own significance. Some of the admiring dances are the Jaisalmer Kalbeliya dance and the Udaipur Ghoomar dance, which have got international recognition. During your Rajasthan Travel you can enjoy the folk dance of Rajasthan that is a prime attraction of the state. The local peoples used to play Sitar, Sarangi, and Dholak during the fairs and festivals.

The art and architecture of the state is truly rich. The major export products are the Zari embroidery, block prints, Sanganer prints, and Bagaru prints. Also the Rajasthani people used to make the carpets, potteries and wooden furniture. On the other hand the architecture of the place is magnificent. The Dilwara temples, Jantar Mantar, Chittorgarh Fort, Jaisalmer Havelis are some of the rich cultural heritage of the state Rajasthan.
