Lead Generation is critical for any business and if it is done right, you should never run out of prospects that are interested in your products or business opportunity.

The first thing that you should do to begin this Lead Generation process is to create an automated system that will send your prospects information about your products and your business opportunity.

This Lead Generation tool is called a Lead Capture Page. The purpose of this Lead Capture Page is to gather this person’s personal information such as their Name, E-Mail Address and Telephone Number. This way, you will be able to follow-up with this Lead and give them additional information about why they should buy your product or join your business opportunity.

When building a Lead Generation Capture Page, you should have a Headline that captures the leads attention. This is very important, because statistics show that if you do not capture their attention in 10 seconds, 9 out of 10 people will leave your page. Once you capture their attention, you should provide them with some information that they would be interested in learning more about. Don’t give them all of the details about your products or business, but tease them and tell them that they can learn more if the submit their information.

The next tool that you will need to automate your Lead Generation efforts is an Autoresponder. An Autoresponder is a tool that when your Lead enters in their information on your Lead Generation Site, it triggers a series of follow-up e-mails that your Lead will receive promoting your products or business. Follow-up is very important, because most people never make a decision to buy your product or join your business opportunity until they have seen it at least 5 or 6 times.

Now that you have your Lead Generation website up and running, you will need to drive traffic to your Lead Generation website. This may sound easy, but can be the most difficult process of Lead Generation.

Here are 5 ways that you can drive Traffic to your Lead Generation Website.

1. Press Releases – Press Releases are a very good way to drive quality traffic to your Lead Generation website. If you have a unique product, opportunity, or have a unique story, the press is one of the quickest ways to get your news out to the public.

2. Online Advertising – There are many different ways to advertise online, but some of the most effective ways is to list your Lead Generation website in the online directory’s, get your advertising in Online Newsletters or Enzines that relate to your Product or Business.

3. Search Engines – There are 2 different ways to get your Lead Generation website listed in the Search Engines. There are the Free Listings and then there are the Paid listings. To get listed for free in the search engines, you may have to hire a professional to optimize your website to get the listing you desire and it can be very expensive. Most people prefer to just pay for listings. You can do this by going to Google or Yahoo and sign-up for their Pay-Per Click programs. When you sign-up for these programs, you just tell them how much you want to pay for each visit to your website.

4. Article Marketing – Article Marketing can get your Lead Generation website a great deal of exposure. With every Article you write, just include your Lead Generation website in the Authors Resource Box. Not only will people read your articles, but if publishers like them, they have the right to republish your articles as long as they include your personal information included in the Authors Resource Box. Your article could be published on hundreds of websites in no time.

5. E-Mail Joint Ventures – E-Mail Joint Ventures is when you contact someone who has a very large database of subscribers for a specific niche. You can give these list owners a percentage or compensate in one way or another and have them send out your Lead Generation website to their list of subscribers.

Remember that the most important step in this Lead Generation process is creating a lead capture page that compels people to give you their information to receive more information about your products or business opportunity.
