Wrinkles and fine lines are as inevitable as death and taxes. All adults in the planet will experience the appearance of laugh lines, crow lines and other forms of wrinkles sometime in life. However, you can delay these signs of aging on your face if you just know what to do. It is never too early or too late to follow the tips below to help you banish your wrinkles and fine lines away:

Always Shield Your Skin From The Sun

The number one cause of early skin aging and the development of wrinkles and blemishes is the sun. Thus, you need to wear sunscreen with sun protection factor that is at least 45. It is imperative that you wear sunscreen everyday even if you are indoors because your skin is not immune from photo damage emitted by the very bright lights that are used in places like the office, photo studios, and industrial plants.

Clean Your Skin Thoroughly But Gently

Some old women are afraid to thoroughly clean their face thinking that this can contribute to dryness and appearance of fine lines. However, you need deep cleansing in order to bring out that youthful glow. You need to regularly remove deep-seated dead skin cells, dirt and oil to prevent dull skin. To prevent dryness, use products that are not harsh on the skin.

Moisturize Inside Out

It is a known fact that dryness can really lead to wrinkles and fine lines. The best way to beat dryness is through moisturizing your skin, not only from outside, but also from within. You can help moisturize your skin from the inside by drinking plenty of water. Dehydration is the leading cause of skin dryness.

It is also important to lavish your face with creams and moisturizers to keep your skin hydrated and smooth. Your body also needs oils or lotions to maintain its elasticity and suppleness.

Quit Smoking

If you want to maintain your youth, and also your health, it is but wise to give up smoking. This nasty habit not only speeds up skin aging, but it also inhibits cell restoration and regeneration. Smoking is also responsible for giving you premature lines and wrinkles around the mouth and sluggish-looking gray skin.

Give Circulation A Boost

Use a facial scrub and exfoliate your skin every once in a while. This will help in improving blood circulation on the face, giving you a rosy and healthy glow. Exfoliating also helps in skin renewal and scrubbing off dead skin cells.

Mask Existing Lines

If you already have wrinkles and fine lines, you really do not have to wear a mask just like the Phantom of The Opera. There are actually good concealers and foundations that can help reduce the appearance of these skin imperfections. If Hollywood celebrities can hide their true age through make up, why can't you?

Be Conscious About The Weather

Extreme heat and cold can cause dryness. As a result, you need to make little changes to your beauty regimen to take into consideration the weather and the present season. You might need to apply moisturizer more often during the winter to prevent your skin from drying, or you can buy a waterproof SPF for your face and body when you are at the beach in summer.
