The days of getting down on your hands and knees to scrub your floors are over thanks to the Hoover floor cleaner. Hoover makes a nice selection of floor cleaners that do everything from sweeping to scrubbing floors.

Most of us like the look of a clean floor but many do not have time to scrub. The Hoover Floor Mate is a perfect choice as an all in one floor cleaner. Not only does it vacuum up crumbs and particles on your bare floors, but it also works to mop the floor and even dry the floor when finished! I was thrilled to get one of these items for a gift and couldn’t believe how much it saved time in every day cleaning. Not only that, my floors glistened like new when I was finished using the Hoover Floor Mate.

The Hoover Floor Mate looks like an upright vacuum cleaner. It has two tanks; one for vacuuming up particles and the other that holds different solutions and water to make scrubbing your floors a breeze. There are two different varieties of the Floor Mate, the Spin Scrub 500 and the Spin Scrub 800. I have the Spin Scrub 800 that has seven brushes and a removable squeegee.

There are different tools and accessories with each machine. In addition to extension tools, my Hoover Floor Mate also has two tools that can be used for cleaning grout. Hoover makes two different solutions that can be added to clean the floors and grout in your kitchen or bathroom. It is necessary to use the correct solutions for each job as grout is very porous and can be difficult to clean. I was pleased to see that the Hoover Floor Mate did an excellent job in cleaning the grout in between my floor tiles.

I also used the extension to clean the grout on the tub walls. Hoover makes this easy as it has a long attachment hose. I found this to be a fast, effective way to clean all of my grout. When I was finished cleaning, a simple flick of the switch enabled me to dry the floors and grout in record time. No more sitting around, waiting for the floor to dry.

For smaller projects, you may like the Hoover Impulse Cordless mop. This compact upright cleaner resembles a stick vacuum cleaner but can be used to wash and dry your floor as well as get to spills right away. Anyone who has a kitchen floor knows that scrubbing is always better than mopping. Mopping tends to slosh dirty water all around, whereas scrubbing makes the floor sparkle. But few of us want to get down on our hands and knees to scrub and many do not have the time. This is what is so wonderful about Hoover floor cleaners. They scrub the floor with less effort than it takes to mop the floor. Don’t let the name fool you - the Cordless mop does not simply toss dirty water around the floor. It works to remove dirt, clean the floor, vacuums up the dirty water and even dries the floor when finished.

No matter what your needs, there is a Hoover floor cleaner available to help you clean your floors. Say goodbye to scrub brushes and buckets and say hello to a Hoover.
