Imagine if you will - that each of us are born with a set of faucets.

Just like the ones you would find in a bathtub.

Yet, instead of being marked hot and cold…these ones are categorized in areas such as romance, prosperity, health and attitude.

As we enter the world, (metaphorically speaking) each of these faucets is opened to full capacity.
It seems we get all the love, attention, and safety we need.

In other words, everything we could desire comes pouring in, simply for the asking.

Then what happens?

We get older and become a bit more cynical, untrusting and attempt to control everything in our life.

Come on, you know it true.

When this occurs the faucets that were once opened to full stream slowly tighten and the flow gets reduced.

The more anger, resentment and lack of appreciation we have, the more the flow seems to be cut off until it stops all together.

This would explain why some people have all the money they ever wanted, or why some people have so much love and support in their lives while others cannot find it at all.
They have their faucets open at full force.

It works like this.

Imagine your “Relationship” faucet was a little rusty. It has not been opened for a time longer than one would hope for.

Ok let’s face it – It’s stuck shut!

So what could you do?

First – we decide that we want more, and make ourselves OPEN to the possibilities of romance.

Then, throw it out there. Get brave.

Begin sharing with your friends, family, and anyone else that will listen that you are seeking that special someone.

Now here comes the tricky part.

When others introduce you to someone, we have to keep our open mind for our faucet to open as well.

If we say “that person has too big of a nose, or that person isn’t what I am looking for” what do you think would happen?

The laws of the universe (along with the friend who set you up) would say – forget it! And close that faucet shut to the possibilities of another encounter.

They would think why I should give this person more, when they don’t appreciate the offering.

Squweeeaaak (That’s the sound of the love faucet shutting down)

Have you ever heard someone say, “I wouldn’t want to win the lotto, think of all the taxes you have to pay”

On the flip side, when we are open to opportunity, and make the most our situation while thanking those who gave their attempt, by applying common sense, they would continue their quest to help you find you your mate.

(We do this by expressing our gratitude for what was offered and request that they keep pouring it in)

By doing this, before you know it, the faucet will be flowing and you will have what was once lacking.
