This trend of renewable, from old mining textile and manufacturing towns to town, which are experiencing a rebirth, is not limited to this area. There are other areas of Maine like Rockland and Belfast that have also seen a renewal. This renewal columnist at the hands of a growing number of art related individuals, artists craftspeople, restaurants and specialty stores that have brought new life into these small communities.

In this particular area of Maine, there are a number of red brick, old-fashioned steel buildings, which date in the mid-19th century and take up more than a mile worth of Maine real estate. In fact, this area actually holds the largest of such size to Mills in the entirety of the New England area. Unfortunately, due to the loss of business this Maine real estate is largely empty and installing its decline. There are also a number of storefronts, which are empty, and number of homes, which are for sale. These things make it a perfect place to consider moving to or investing. There is plenty of commercial and residential real estate available. It still holds a small town feel and is located in a beautiful setting.
