Cheesy lines are not just cheesy; they are also tasteless and show very little creativity on your part. If you can’t be original enough to say hello in your own way, then why should anyone give you a chance? Sometimes these cheesy pick up lines can even be taken as offensive and make you seem crude. An easy way to make cheesy lines less cheesy is to transform them into something completely different and possibly humorous. These are the ultimate in cheesy pick up lines, and if you read them aloud you will have a perfect understanding of why you get shot down so frequently. The good news is that the sentiment is perfect, but it doesn’t need to be laid on so thick or brash. Turning cheesy lines into regular pick up lines is simple and just requires a little tweaking. Complimenting someone doesn’t have to be so dramatic, a simple “wow, you look amazing” or “you have beautiful eyes” will suffice.

Cheesy lines just make you appear as if you’re trying too hard to impress someone. It is human nature to wonder what someone is hiding in that they have to try so hard to be something they are not. And with these cheesy lines it makes it seem next to impossible that someone is serious about dating and you’re no exception. When you approach the man or woman in which you’re interested, introduce yourself and ask for their name. The fact that you have approached them in a sincere fashion pretty much indicates your interest, so cheesy lines that profess their tremendous beauty seems redundant. A simple but thoughtful compliment is much better than recycled cheesy lines that probably didn’t work for your uncle Albert either.
