Mumbai is a city where you will never fall short of accommodation. Mumbai offers hotel accommodation for every budget. In this city you can choose from a variety of accommodation ranging from budget to luxury hotels. One of the most popular hotels in Mumbai is the Taj Mahal Hotel that is located opposite the Gateway of India giving you a magnificent view of the sea from your hotel room.

In case you are a tourist traveling on a budget you can stay at various budget accommodations available in the city, for business travelers there are a variety of business hotels and for people seeking luxury they can stay some of the most luxurious five star hotels in the world that Mumbai offers. There are a number of travel sites where you can book hotel rooms at discounted tariffs hence taking care of your botheration to search for accommodation when you land in Mumbai. You can avail accommodation ranging from few hundred to thousands of bucks at some of the best hotels in Mumbai.

Most of the hotels in Mumbai are centrally located therefore you wont have any trouble in traveling around in the city. Accommodation in Mumbai is costlier when compared to other cities in India and this is because it is because of the paucity of space in this city and also because it is the commercial capital of the country.

In case you are looking forward to stay in Mumbai for a while do stretch your budget a bit since its quite expensive to stay in Mumbai when compared with other cities in India. I would recommend you to stay at Taj Mahal hotel (the old one) opposite Gateway of India if you have a lot of cash since it would remind you of the old Mumbai era. So pack your bags and set off to Mumbai - the city of dreams.

You could choose from a beach side hotel where you could enjoy the cool breeze or choose one which is near the commercial areas so that you can easily access the commercial areas. When you compare it with the rest of cities you will realize that Mumbai is a costlier place to stay when compared with other metros of India.

You could choose from hotels with dingy rooms or luxurious suites in some of the most plush areas of Mumbai. If you have the money then you can get your choice of accommodation. Some of the most popular hotels in Mumbai are Taj Mahal Hotel, Oberoi and Leela to name a few. Most of the tourists are on a lookout for budget destinations since the city sees a lot of business travelers reaching for it everyday.

In most of the hotels the check in time is from noon to noon and in certain cases you won’t be charged if you stay for few hours beyond noon. In case you are looking forward to spend only a few hours in Mumbai then a god option would be to arrive at hotels such as Centaur or Leelawhere you could deposit your luggage for a small fee and use their coffee shops, hotel lounges and health clubs for a small fee without checking into the hotel.
