Crawling into the shell of memories takes us into those good old school days. Cheeks turned red when our name was called aloud in the auditorium and the audience stared at you. In the golden pages of school life, chapters of embarrassments are many – being teased and friends circled us and laughed. After that blushing increases proportionally to our social growth. When grown up, blushing takes a different shape. Social commitments increase and we blush when a public speech is demanded. Our face reddens; heads go down even in contradictory situations like – during an appreciation or pacification.

Arises at this advanced stage, when even our public life is rare. A strong desire to stop blushing builds up at a point when others notice and cook up stories on our blushing. Blushing thus pave way for a social phobia that stands as an iceberg in our sailing towards the target. Loss of confidence roots firmly and the individual abstains from public exposure.

Studying the history of blushing reveals that an extreme stage of self -consciousness is always the source of blushing. This over awareness tends to give an unnecessary importance to public opinion and this adds up the anxieties and worries. The fear of being a centre of discussion and a factor of judgment prevents them from showing up even when it is needed. The individual is always haunted by the fear of watchful eyes. Things grow worse when one realizes his frequent blushing and turns out to be an introvert.

To stop blushing, the pessimistic approach of an individual has to be peeled off from the base and an optimistic courage has to be developed. Preparing one from beforehand to be in front of a mass and understanding that it is human to blush will help a lot. Realizing our potential and individuality is of prime concern.

But a superior level of mental training is unavoidable, when mind is the sole cause of all human problems. Hypnosis deals with the complicated aspects of human mind, helping to overcome the tensions that block thoughts from flying in open air.
