Learning about this subject will help you more in the long run than you may realize. It will help you gain knowledge about how to get paid for taking online surveys i.e. an overview about the different payment methods available, identifying legitimate research companies and how much you can get paid for taking surveys on the web.

A lot of people have often wondered about the reality of making money through online paid surveys. Their insecurity is completely justified considering the level of paid surveys scams prevalent on the web today . Opportunely, people can still take surveys for cash online without having to pay any form of subscription.

From amongst those who are convinced about the legitimacy of this money making method some still question its success i.e. they wonder if they can quit their day jobs for it. The other group claim to actually make a living from it. As you begin to take part on these surveys, you will be able to make your own judgment, however, you don’t have to quit your day job just yet no matter how lucrative the offers seem.

Some basic research shows that about 80% of the cash payout in these online paid surveys come from 20% of the free surveys being offered. Basically this means that if you were to take part in 100 of them you would only make real money from 20. The other 80 would be just a waste of your time and the pay outs can be de-motivating. These low payers are generally not worth the time and effort to participate in them. Generally when filling in a survey questionnaire you should get paid something within the range of US$2 to US$100 and should take between 10 to 30 minutes to fill. The wide range is based on the fact that different questionnaires have different requirements and hence their payouts vary.

You can get paid in different ways for answering questionnaires online, these includes cash and other forms of payments like discount coupons, vouchers, contests, gift certificates, sweepstakes and even free products that may be more valuable than a cash payment.

The payment period for internet surveys depends of the form of payment used whether it is through a Paypal, check or direct bank transfer. In most cases survey companies allow you to set a pay out threshold, for example US$100 but some impose this. This means to get your pay out for taking their surveys, you could be required to accumulate up to US$100. That could mean answering a couple of questionnaires and because of the random sampling method they use when selecting respondents the pay out time may vary greatly. So the more questionnaires you fill the greater the cash payout will be.

Don't forget that a legal survey company should not ask you to make any type of purchase or to provide your credit card details. You may, however, be asked to pay if you want to access a large pool of the various survey firms. These may help you identify the best surveys online but if you are just starting out it is always best to do the search on your own until you are able to identify the legitimate companies.

Before you sign up for any free online survey for cash, do not forget that survey scams are really there and if you are not careful you might end up being a victim. So the first thing to do when you are considering taking part in any of the programs is to find a legitimate company. You shouldn’t rush this process take sometime to read about the potential companies and never underestimate customer reviews. Focus on this process and the results will be astonishingly great.
