There is a problem with the old method. To be successful in MLM, duplication is a very important factor. Duplication means you can easily use the same method that your sponsor has used to recruit people. It also means you can easily teach the same method to your downline and they will be able to use the method easily.

The problem with the old method is that it is not easily duplicable. Sure, there are people who became very successful by using the old method. These top producers are usually great sellers who enjoy talking to people and are not afraid of rejection. However, most people hate selling. They do not like to approach people to talk about MLM opportunities.

4) What is the new method?

The new method involves leveraging the internet. It is really simple to set up. Firstly, you need to create a webpage with an opt in form to collect the information of your visitors. Most of the time, you will only need their email address.

After creating your webpage with an opt in form, all you need to do is to drive targeted traffic to your site. There are many ways to drive targeted traffic to your site which is out of scope in this article. Normally, the traffic you received is targeted, you will have an opt in rate of around 10% (I am being conservative here. Your conversion rate will depend on several factors).

The next step to be done is to follow up with your subscribers through email. You can follow up with them as many times as you want as long as they are still in your list. Of course, try not to overdo it.

5) What are the advantages of new method?

With the internet, you are no longer limited by geographical location. The world is now your playground.

You can easily get targeted prospect with the new method. With the old method, the people that you approach are not necessary interested in MLM or any other business opportunities. Obviously, it is easier to convert targeted prospect, who are already interested in work from home MLM opportunities.

The next advantage is that you can easily automate the process of follow up as well as getting traffic.
