So you have decided that you are going to renovate your kitchen one of the first considerations even before you begin is to what type, style and size of y0our basic kitchen appliances. The design and layout of your kitchen renovation will often be dictated by where you want your appliances located and what type of functionality you want your kitchen to have.

If you are the type of person who likes to entertain then the type style and size of the appliances will be of the utmost importance to you. If on the other hand you tend to eat out regularly and do very little entertaining then smaller and more compact and versatile kitchen appliances nay be of more benefit yo you that a 6 burner gas stove with all the bells and whistles.

The most important appliance is usually the refrigerator, the positioning of the refrigerator is very important as is the direction the door opens, some refrigerators can be either left or right opening others can only be one or the other and are not changeable always consider this when buying a refrigerator.

On most peoples list would have to be some type of cooker oven or simple stove top. The designs of these are as variable as the kitchens people have in their homes. If you love to cook then a large stainless gas cook top is probably a priority if you don’t cook much a simple electric stove top cooker maybe more practical. One of the things that you need to ask your supplier is a bout the availability of spare parts for your cooker, many people have been caught out buying a stove top or cooker only to find out years later that there are no spare parts available or there will be many weeks delay in sourcing spare parts.

One of the best ways to find out the right questions to ask and to be completely informed is to use the internet its always a good idea to find out if someone else has had a problem with a product or even a spare parts problem later. A person I know once waited weeks for a part for his cooker, imagine the inconvenience that caused.

The other benefit to using the Internet to find out information is that other people will often have encountered good suppliers and products and are prepared to give them great reviews.

In conclusion it is better to make sure that you have thoroughly investigated all the pros and cons of every brand and type of appliance that you are thinking of purchasing before you actually spend your money on any appliance. Always remember that the most expensive is not always the best and ensure that you have looked into the product thoroughly first. Do as much research as you can and looking at websites that focus on home renovations and product reviews is the best and cheapest way of making sure you get all the information on good and bad products and suppliers.
