You are placing yourself at risk for breast cancer if you are not administering these monthly exams. Women should also schedule regular visits with your doctor to reduce your risk factors for forming breast cancers as well as to achieve an early diagnosis. When you are talking with your doctor, make sure to inquire about when you should begin going for mammograms for the early detection of breast cancer.
