Auto detailing is a sure money-making venture for the patient and persevering person. It's a fast growing industry that you can get into if you have the guts and the passion to achieve it.

Auto detailing follows a step by step approach in cleaning cars and autos with the use of tools and auto detailing equipment to make your auto detailing job easier and cleaner.

Auto detailing is pure hard work and interest in what you do. It generally takes 3-4 hours to auto detail a car excluding its engine. This article will deal on the essentials of auto detailing - the must-have tools, equipment and procedures - the very soul of any auto detailing job.

To accomplish your auto detailing work, you will need a number of tools like rags or towels, brush of different sizes, big wash buckets, spray bottles and cotton wash mitts. You will also need synthetic chamois and big and regular sponges. Then, you will likewise need to get rug steam cleaner and orbital buffer. It will surely help a lot if you have a power washer with you to easily clean hard to remove dirt and stains.

Prior to detailing, you have to cover portions of equipment that are sensitive. After doing so, you are now ready to start washing the car.

Use soft and clean wash mitt. Having pH balanced car wash will be advantageous to preserve the original shine of your car. As a piece of advice, do not use detergents. It is not also advisable to utilize wash brush in cleaning the car.

Wet the car. This is to remove mud and dirt from the car's body. It is better to be very methodical. Wash the car from top to down. Use brush to clean hard to reach portions of car's body but make sure you don't brush the body because that will ruin the paint of your car. After this, it is now time to clean the rims.

Having cleaned the rims, you can now thoroughly clean the body. Clean it in a top-down method like what is advised when you wet the car for the first time. After the car is completely clean, use chamois to absorb water from the car and do the final drying using cotton towels. Having thoroughly getting the water off the car's body, you may now apply on the tires and bumpers the dressings you bought.

Then, you can now begin vacuuming the interior of the car. Make sure that you clean this part very thoroughly as this one is what your client will inspect very meticulously aside from the fact that everyone wants the interior of the car to be as clean as they should be.

Then, you are now ready to shampoo the interior after vacuuming it. Shampoo the carpets and floor and make sure that you remove all dirt from them. You may now apply leather and vinyl preserve once you're done shampooing. Next, clean the windows and give them that shiny look.

Auto detailing is really a methodical work and entails a lot of hard work. But all these efforts pay off when you see your client satisfied with your service. This feeling will definitely give you a sense of satisfaction and fulfillment. Plus, you will get better pay for a job well done.
