The first step that you have to consider when tempting to wall mount a Samsung LCD TV is of course the location. Choosing the right spot for your LCD or Plasma is vital. The most experienced would recommend mounting your TV on the interior rather than the exterior walls.

Once you have found the location and wall for the mounting of your TV, ensure that the Samsung LCD is able to be wall mounted. This is a rare thing, but most of the earlier models were manufactured for table tops only. Then it is on to the next step, the proper wall mount. Samsung LCD / Plasma TV’s come in a variety of sizes and weights, as you can see here at http://www.tv-wall-brackets.co.uk/samsung/. Should you prefer to tilt your television while it is mounted to get a better view, then the tilt is definitely recommended. The mounted sets that are famous are the LCD’s 37 inch and a heavier version is the 42” Plasma.

The basic tools that are required in order to correctly wall mount the Samsung LCD TV are as follows; tape measure, a set of screwdrivers, a full socket set, drill and so forth, just your basic around the house tools. Some of the tools that are needed, but that you might not own are; Torpedo level, stud finder and then the wall mount, including the proper cabling.

After everything is on hand, you follow these easy summed up steps to correctly wall mount a Samsung TV.

• Determine the placement of the mount. One you have more or less an idea, check for stumbling blocks. The wall studs are then placed in relation to the placement of the bracket. Bear in mind that one stud is suitable for a small to medium LCD’s, should you however be mounting a Plasma, you would need two studs along with two anchor bolts on each side.

• The recommendation on screen height, make sure that it not to high up on the wall and at the same time you have no obstruction when viewing.

• Ahead of mounting the bracket to the location on the wall, attach the rails used for mounting on the back of your LCD / Plasma. In this way, you have more or less an idea as to where the display will be looking at the bracket on the wall.

• Subsequent to this, you are a few steps away. Make light pencil marks on the wall as to the place where the anchor bolts are to be placed. You then go ahead and do the drilling for installation, don’t forget the cables. For this purpose use a sheetrock saw.

• Once all is done, the hanging of the display requires two people, to lift it. Before this is done though, make sure that the safety tabs are in the correct position. The weight of the TV will more than likely keep the mount secure, the tabs does lock over the rails of the mount, which will set your mind at ease.

Mounting your Samsung TV is not hard if you use the correct tools and read the manual provided with the wall bracket.
