For the past few months the LG 26”720p Widescreen flat panel has been flying off the shelves in stores. When the time comes to the installation of the LG TV bracket, you have to bear 5 things to bear in mind;

1 Size matters, when you purchase your LG TV bracket, the one thing that you have to bear in mind is that you have different size mounts for different size TV’s. The size comparison in a 22” compared to a 50” is far apart. Bigger LG mounting requires more hardware support, thus more than one stud, smaller LCD models differs from the larger counterparts.

2 The wall; various walls are useful for the LG Flat panels and the most common wall that is utilized in bracket support is preferably a wall with wood studding. A stud finder comes in handy for the relocation of the center of the studs to which you will mount your display. The other wall types are concrete as well as cinder block. The use of concrete anchors is needed for a locked link.

3 There are many types of LCD TV bracket mounts to choose from;

• A fixed wall mount, ensuring no movement after installation.

• A tilting mount, giving you that extra flexibility and allowing you to tilt the LG TV to your preferred viewing angle upto 15 degrees.

• An arm mount, this is commonly used for the smaller LCD LG TV’s, allowing your TV to be flat against the wall and at the same time allowing room for movement forward and from left to right.

• A motorized wall mount, this is the ultimate, a bit pricier but at the same time an impressive addition to any living room. This type of LG TV bracket allows silent operation using a remote control. This will have your friends in awe when invited to a movie night.

4 The management of the cabling; this has to be done in such a way that the rest of the components are connected to the system. Most people would do the installation in a molding form, as this in order to hide away any visible wires, but others would install a wall plate making it easy for the connectors to be connected and ensuring an un-cluttered look. Should you be unsure of the electrical codes, consult an electrician as the power cords are to run through the walls and a receptacle would have to be installed at the back of the TV set to run power to the TV. The use of the HDMI would be convenient for you as this allows the audio and HD cables through one. Most LG LCD TV bracket has cable management built in, for your convenience.

5 This is the final decision that you have to make; where to mount your LG TV. The location of the set is dependent on the environment that you are willing to create in your house. It is recommended that the TV be mounted just above eye level, making for easy viewing. The speakers should also be placed in appropriate positions allowing for surround sound.
