A dishwasher is a mechanical device for cleaning the dishes. They are largely used in restaurants and kitchen of our homes. Earlier conventionally dishwashing was done by scrubbing the dishes with a soggy cloth or sponge to scrub away the dirt on the dishes. The dishes were again washed in clean water and then the dishes were hanged on the kitchen stands to allow them to dry. In big restaurants many people were employed to clean the dishes. The employees first use to rinse the dishes, and then they would load them into a stainless steel dishwasher, wash the dishes and again unload them to their individual dish holders. The huge pots and pans were washed by hand by scrubbing them in soap water and then in plain water. This was a long procedure and it took a lot of time. But today to save the time, energy and manual power, the big restaurants are using automatic dishwashers. The restaurants and hotels use large heavy dishwashers as the amount of dishes are more. Different from manual dishwashing, which relies basically on physical scrubbing to remove the stains from the dishes, the dishwasher cleans the dishes very efficiently with ease.

Kitchen appliances make our life easier. My dishwasher is wonderful. It accomplishes the entire series of functions by itself. I least have to take any tension about it. With kids playing around in the house or sometimes in the kitchen too, using a dishwasher is harmless. My dishwasher monitors everything by itself. The water is filled by itself, and then the detergent dispenser automatically opens at the right time, cleans the dishes and drains. All I have to do is to select the type of setting which I want to according to the washing of my dishes. The rest of the work is done by the dishwasher.
