This card will offer you savings on airlines, convenience store items, services, gas, and more that has to do with travelling like hotel bills. The purpose of this card is to offer more, but it does have an annual fee. The annual fee may be worth it if you find the rewards something that you will be able to earn in a year or more frequently. The rewards are not always going to be offered. Some of the discounts such as the hotels can be offered with just having the card.

Keep in mind that with the Texaco credit card you will be using it for rewards at the gas station. Just using it for general purchases is not going to get you the savings you need. Since the cost of oil has increased in the last few years, it seems that this may be one of the best cards to have right now to save on your rising fuel costs.
