Are you looking for some inside information on las minute cruises? Here's an up-to-date report from last minute cruise experts who should know.

Most people say that booking a cruise early will provide big discounts. By offering early discounts, the cruise line hopes that they will fill the ship early so there are no empty cabins. At the same time, if you planning on cruising last minute, you can still find some great deals.

However, booking a last minute cruise comes at great risk. The biggest risk is that the cruise can fill up early and their will be no spaces available. Remember also, airfare can get pretty expensive when you book last minute.

You could also run into problems by waiting until the last minute to book a cruise. Each cruise line offers different last minute deals. For instance, some cruise lines will increase their discounts as the departure date gets closer. They do this because they would rather fill all the cabins then leave them empty.

As a last minute cruiser there are a couple of routes to take. You can use a travel agent who will take care of the entire booking process for you. You can also do your research and find the best last minute cruise deal by searching online.

Keep in mind that you must be flexible when booking last minute. You may not always get to go to your dream destination by waiting until the last minute. If you find a great last minute cruise deal, seize the opportunity and book it.

Here are some basic trips for planning a last minute cruise:

- Decide on where you would like to go. Talk to a travel agency or friends for advice. There are a lot of things to do and see in many different parts of the world.

- Figure out how many days you would like to spend on a cruise. Most cruises last from 3 to 14 days. There are also some cruises that last longer with more things to see and do.

- Go to a travel agency and gather up cruise brochures and flyers. Be sure and see what the cruise has to offer in the way of services and amenities.

- Determine how much money you are willing to spend. Come up with a plan and budget out the expenses. You can find a cruise on almost any budget. Compare each one and find which one is most comfortable and enjoyable for you.

- With the help of your travel agent, determine a point of departure. Book your departure point through the transportation office. You neefd to remember to budget in additional costs for transportation to the departure point.

You can find some great values when booking a last minute cruise. Just be prepared before planning and booking a last minute cruise.

If you've picked some pointers about last minute cruise that you can put into action, then by all means, do so. You won't really be able to gain any benefits from your new knowledge if you don't use it.

Have fun,
