The basis of business cards certain things are vital to any business-big or small! One such thing is the logo. A logo is an illustration of the business. It shows what the views and vision of the company are. Certain logos are so eye catching that they create a favorable first impression about the business.

What are the advantages of a logo?

A logo is like the fingerprint of a person. It is something unique to each person. Just like a fingerprint helps a person to be identified, the logo helps a business to be identified,

The main advantages of logo are:

1)Logo acts as a marketing promotion for the business in the open market.

2)It attracts customers towards the business, even potential ones.

3)Like the fingerprint or DNA of a person, the logo is unique to the business.

4)Just like the name of the business, the logo is also vital in creating a favorable first impression. As they say, first impression is the best impression!

How should the logo be designed?

The logo should be eye catching and it should look professional. If money is not a big issue, then you can hire an experienced designer to create a good logo for your business.

A logo should not be very complicated. It should have a simple color pattern and be short in text portion. The logo will launch the business in the market. So if it is possible to create one that is not flamboyant but is still memorable, it would be wonderful. It should also depict the vision of the business and the motive of the company.

Many times simplicity may not allow us to be so very explicit about our business in the logo. This is where a professional logo designer will score much higher than any logo design software, which can also throw up same type of logos for various businesses.

What is the importance of logo in a business card?

Many people go onto all the trouble of creating a logo but they fail to prominently display the same in all their business communications. The logo should be displayed in the business card, letter head and all other documents. The logo and business card are a deadly combination in creating a favorable first impression. So, spend money and time to make sure you get the best in both of them.

What should be avoided while designing a logo?

Whenever you get a logo designed, remember the pattern is of vital importance. If you have a pattern that catches the eye, then this spells productivity, expertise and professionalism. Anything cheap, flamboyant or showy will ruin your company’s image. Decorating a logo heavily and using a variety of colon in the same is a very faulty move and should be avoided. This will show that you have no experience or professionalism.

Go in for a simple logo with few colors that will deliver the product and your business image to the customer favorably.
