About Cheltenham

Cheltenham is a very famous and large town located in Gloucestershire, England. It has a population, recorded in 2001, of around 110,000 and people who live there are also sometimes referred as “Cheltonians”. The town is considered to be wealthy and is within easy commuting distance of London and other major cities. The literacy rate is also very respectable in the town. It is also famous for its Regency architecture and often considered to be the most complete regency town of England. Almost 34 years back in 1974, the borough of Cheltenham was combined with an urban district of Charlton Kings in order to form a new and modern district of Cheltenham. Cheltenham is also one of the most famous tourist resorts in England and visitors that often come here strengthen the economy of this town.

Well, there are many options that you can consider for spending your vacations in Cheltenham. It is one of the ideal locations for spending your free time, either alone or with your family.
