If you are planning to venture into the virtual business world you would invariably hear about the amazing potential a well formatted marketing network system can offer you. The success stories would make you giddy with anticipation and you would be anxious to take the plunge and earn rich profits. However, beware that it is not all a bed of roses. While it is indeed true that a marketing network can be your best tool for success, there are many other parameters that would play equally important roles.

When you hear about the possibilities a marketing network system can generate for you in terms of earning a steady income you can not help wonder why - if this method is so simple and effective - isn't everybody who starts a business online rich? How come there are more failure stories than success stories and how come some reports even show that 90% of the network marketing ventures fail.

The first mistake that one can make when launching and promoting their marketing system is to apply the same marketing rules that are used for promoting regular sales. When you sell a new product generally you start with cold calling and follow up until you are able to completely convert the prospect. This method does not fare well within a marketing network. Therefore, if you are looking for success here, you need other tactics.

The second mistake most people make when they work on a marketing network system is that they give up. Yes, giving up is a great mistake and of course means that you aren't going to go any further toward success. There are up and downs with any business venture and you need to learn to adapt and overcome. You need to give the business a fair chance to work before you give up on it.

The third mistake is not paying enough attention to the opt in advertisement that leads to the web site. This is the advertisement which holds the door open for members to join your marketing network system and this is why it should be very strongly formulated in order to achieve the best possible impact. The opt-in advertisement or write up should be something that makes the prospective customer want to visit your website and buy what you have to offer.

The fourth mistake that most people commit is to not make use of automatic responders. The automatic responder can literally take the customer through the amazing story of rags to riches cut into bite-size meals which would convince your customer in the end that your marketing network system was superb. An auto responder can help to put your system on autopilot once you have everything set up.

The fifth mistake people generally commit is not gathering enough support before launching their marketing network system. When this aspect is ignored - and this is quite often - your marketing network is not complete and risks being rejected. It helps to make sure that you have some sort of a business plan in place before you even get started.
