If you are a business and you are selling a certain type of product, type what the product is in the search engine and start making friends.

Once you have friends, you can start giving them different information. This can happen in various ways. One way is to post messages on their profile page or wall for everyone to see. If you don’t like that then you can send messages to them, kind of like an email but it is hosted by Myspace. You can also send out information in the form of a bulletin that is posted for all your friends to see all at once. If done correctly, you can very subtly promote your business or products in this community and you may well be surprised by the results.

As stated above, social networking sites are places where you can come in contact with a lot of people all at once and these sites really do make finding people with similar interests very easy. They are also a helpful tool for networking as well and many people have become successful using Myspace as a powerful marketing tool. It takes very little technical knowledge to do anything, so even the not-so tech savvy people should be able to use it. If you do not have a Myspace account then you are missing out on a wonderful marketing opportunity.
