The beaches of Spain are beautiful, but your holiday to San Sebastian will be even more appealing. The two beaches are La Choncha, which is well-protected form the ocean is a warm and clean beach area. Then there is the surfer's beach, La Zurriola. If high waves are what you want, this is the beach to head to every day. They have rentals for body boards and surf broads. If you have never tried surfing, you can take some lessons and see how much fun it really is and why it is so popular. What a great start to vacation in Spain.

Hiking is another great thing to do in San Sebastian. There is a mountain to climb up and see the Statue of Christ that is found between the two beaches. The hike is a little long, but it only takes about an hour to walk up. Go up is slow, but coming down goes faster. If you need to stop for a rest on the way up, there is a little bar that has drinks and some snacks to boost your energy. You can also hike up the Zurriola hill to see the sights. This takes about two and half hours, but you can take a bus down if you are tired.

You can rent kayaks over by Ondaretta beach. The river is beautiful to float down and see nature at it best. The area is always sunny and the water is always enjoyable to kayak. If you love the water, you might even plan a day of water skiing at La Concha Bay. You can enjoy a day of water skiing and just relaxing in the boat sunning yourself. There are so many things to do and keep you busy in San Sebastian.

The aquarium is another fascinating place to visit. It can take an entire day to see and explore everything. You can sit for hours and enjoy the marine life. After some fun filled days, you might need some fine tasting cuisine. You must try the pintxos. The tapas are laid out on bars as a cold snack or you can order a hot one. This cuisine as you might cal it is delicious. It goes well with a beer or a mixed drink. The thing about the bars that have these put out for customers is that they trust you to tell them out many you eat. That is how you pay for them and your drinks when you are done.

You will find restaurants and bars all over that have some live entertainment and a few even have dancing to all hours of the night. You can enjoy a nice dinner and then hit some of the clubs to see how everyone spends their nights. It is a great vacation for anyone. One thing is for sure, you will never forget your holiday to San Sebastian because of all the fun and excitement you are going to have.
