Exercising… Have You Ever Taken It In The Wrong Way?

Exercising is one of the top choices that doctor suggests everyone to do to maintain good health in long term. But some don’t agree because exercising never work for them. Furthermore, there’re some misunderstandings making many think that it isn’t necessary thing to do or exercise in the wrong way. Here are some misunderstandings:

1. Does exercising really help to lose weight or not?

You have to take this idea in a half way. Actually, the right way of losing weight is exercising and diet control in the same time. If you do one thing in a time will never work definitely. Moreover, it will decay your health instead.

2. It’s OK if you are fat in the childhood because you’ll lose weight automatically after grow up.

Nowadays “Overweight children” is increasing consequences being spoiled from their parents. They eat many junk food and less exercising activity, such as playing computer. There’s the research says that “overweight child could be an overweight adult in the future”. There’s another shocking information about new generation children says “elevated blood cholesterol level children population is much higher”. So parents should encourage their children to do more exercise and have more discipline in dietary consuming.

3. I don’t have that much time to exercise everyday so I’ll exercise harder one day a week.

The best frequency to exercise is 3 days a week - 30 minutes a day, although, some may think that it’s OK to exercise once a week for 2 hours. But scientific fact proves that exercising in both ways result differently because during exercise, hormone functioning in blood circulating, generating and blood vessel contraction-dilation will be produced and released. This hormone will circulate in blood about 2-3 days. But if you exercise too hard, this process won’t be happened meaning it is untoward to your health also.

4. Doing HOUSEWORK is a kind of EXERCISING.

It’s true that doing some daily housework is better than don’t do anything all day. But it doesn’t mean that you have exercised while you are doing housework because your heart isn’t workout enough, though, you have used up more energy than you usually do…

5. I can’t exercise due to my “congenital disease”.

This phrase usually is the excuse for many people not to exercise. But actually, some who have congenital disease certainly can do exercise in appropriate way. The best solution is asking the doctor for suggestion about exercising before you do, which may depend on kind and severity of the disease. Anyway, good exercising aim to strengthen your HEART and LUNG… that kind of exercising is “AEROBIC exercising”, the optimum level of workout that uses oxygen from blood for energy source and gain product as water and CO2. If you exercise too hard, muscle will use up other energy source than blood which gain product as lactic acid instead and your muscle may pain and ache after that. So you should select the most appropriate exercising for good health in the long term.

If you know the correct understanding about exercising, you will enjoy with it and have better health.
