I bet right now you have more projects on your to-do list than you have time to complete. But, the problem isn't the number of projects you have, it's which ones get your time and attention.

The #1 challenge most women entrepreneurs struggle face is how to get focused. That used to be a big problem for me, too, until I learned a few simple techniques that I want to share with you here. These are the same simple techniques that have made a big difference for me as I created my high six-figure home-based business.

Business Coaching Tip #1: Choose The Right Priorities.

The fact is successful entrepreneurs never get their entire to-do lists done; and neither will you. This means it's crucial to focus your time on the few activities that will move your business forward the fastest, easiest way possible.

I am sure if I peeked at your to-do list I would see lots of items that have little to do with what matters most in your business. Wondering what those all-important women entrepreneurs' priorities should be? This will help make it easy for you: your role in your woman-owned business is to stick to your marketing plans, grow your list, and create new services to offer your expanding client base. That's it. Anything else on your to-do list is a distraction that will cause you to lose traction!

Business Coaching Tip #2: Ask The Right Questions.

Asking yourself, "How do I get everything done?" will only cause you to feel anxious and behind. Instead, change your questions to ones that support your marketing plans, list building and creation of new products and services. For example, asking yourself, "Who else markets to my same clients?" will help you create alliance partner opportunities with other women entrepreneurs. Asking, "Where else can I provide a solution to my clients?" will help you create new products you can easily sell.

Business Coaching Tip #3: Remember, You Are in Charge of Your Day.

If you constantly find yourself tending to other peoples' needs and priorities then you're putting your success on the backburner. It's easy to think that once you take care of everyone else, you'll get to do what you want. But, the truth is, it never works out that way. The only way to be successful in your woman-owned business is to surrender to the fact that you are in charge of your day. No one can distract you or make their needs more important than yours unless you let them. The more that you honor your vision by staying focused on your marketing plans, list building and new offers, the more you are living your Soul's Divine Purpose in your business.

The next time (tomorrow, probably!) someone needs your help and tries to make their priority your priority, remember that by giving in, you are giving up your power to be living your dream. Politely tell them you'll be glad to help them later when you've finished your 'work,' then turn your attention to what you know your real priorities to be.

The most successful entrepreneurs in your industry became that way by focusing their time on what matters most, not on just what tried to get their attention! Follow these simple tips and you'll be surprised at how much more you get done and how you'll leapfrog your woman-owned business forward with less effort than you've ever spent!
