These are allergens. Individuals unknowingly breathe in moldy air and these invisible particles enter into human system; all health issues begin from there.

As soon as you get the musty odor, become alert. Take all possible measures to avoid inhaling mold spores and hyphal fragments.

Another way of getting exposed to toxic black molds and mildews is by direct contact. When molds invade your home, they can grow on any substance – clothes, carpets, wooden furniture, leather jackets, fabrics, curtains, wallpapers, walls around the sink, bathroom and many others. If you are not aware of mold growth, chances are you would touch moldy substances during your daily activities and get infected.

The third way of getting infected with toxic molds is through food and beverages. Some mold species grow on food and spoil them. The toxic matters produced by molds make the food smell bad. However, people may ingest mold infested food which may lead to stomach problem, diarrhea and food poison.

The musty odor and the pungent smell of moldy food help people sense infestation of molds. Black mold killer must be used to avoid exposure to toxic black molds.
