You’re frustrated at how you’ve been playing lately. You thought you had one of the best set of clubs in the world and it still hasn’t done anything for your golf game. Even your scores remained stagnant. What a bummer. Of course, there probably has been a time where almost every golfer has struggled through this. They think buying new accessories, such as putters, drivers, etc. will assist in their cause. Unfortunately, that’s not always the case.

There are ways to improve your game without having to get additional accessories. It’s something that you already know about. Do you want to know what it is?

It’s called practice. In fact, it’s really not just practice. It’s setting aside time to practice. When you’re looking to better your game, it’s not some fly by night action. You must go over your shots and techniques again and again and again. This is the sure fire, guaranteed way to be a better golfer.

When you go to the golf range, one of the first things you should do is warm up with a set of balls, using your 7 iron. When you hit the balls using the 7 iron, you can’t just hit it like you want to. There is a certain way you have to do it. Just hitting them is not the proper way. You want to make your shots worthwhile.

When you’re taking shots with the ball, you have to focus on those shots that will work for you. The type of wood or iron makes a difference also. You have to test and make sure you’re using the right club.

During your practice time, you should focus on making enough shots to complete a round of golf. It’s possible to make more shots within so many yards to the hole. You will make fewer shots from the tee box.

You should jot down what you’re going to do during your practice time. This will help you to focus on those things that need the most work. You will have to consistently practice until you get it right.

Usually, the most practice would be on putting and the short game. This is where a lot of your shots are done on the golf course. Since this is such a major part of the game, it’s better to key in on that than other parts of the game. That’s not to say that other parts of the game are not important. It’s better to put more emphasis on what can help you be better in golf.

Some golfers don’t use their time wisely. A split second on the practice green is all they’ll give. Of course, in order to be better, you would obviously have to spend more time on the green than a split second. Along with the driver and chipping for maybe 45 minutes, that’s not nearly enough to get by on anyone’s standards. That is considered very substandard.

So if you’re looking to be a better golfer anytime soon, you must invest your time into practicing for improved results.
